Add the chat to your website

1. Open Channels and scroll to Website.

2. Press Enable.

   

3. Copy the code snippet shown and paste it into your website just before the closing </body> tag. On website builders such as Wix, Squarespace or Webflow, use the “custom code” or “footer code” setting.

4. Visit your site: a chat bubble appears in the corner.

To see how it looks before you publish, open Widget preview from the Website section.

Approval mode on the website

Live chat cannot wait for a person mid-conversation. If the website channel is in approval mode, a visitor sees nothing until you approve the reply from the Unibox. For website chat, most businesses use autopilot.
